Don’t waste any more money buying products to battle acne and try out these few simple tips and home remedies that will do wonders for your skin –
- Apple cider vinegar – you can get this at any local supermarket or grocery store. Mix about a teaspoonful in a small bowl with an equal amount of water and apply it all over your face with a piece of cotton and leave it on for about half an hour. The alkaline properties of apple cider vinegar help to balance the ph of your skin and kills any acne-causing bacteria on your face.
- Lemon juice – squeeze a fresh lemon slice onto your face and leave it on for about 15-20 mins. It acts as an astringent and gets rid of pimple-causing bacteria that may be thriving on your face.
- Cinnamon and honey – mix these two ingredients together to form a paste and apply it as a face mask and relax. Cinnamon has great antibacterial properties that can wipe out acne-causing bacteria. Honey has antibiotic properties too that can contribute to removing bacteria.
- Milk or yoghurt – these dairy products help to soothe the areas of your face that are affected badly by acne and the acids contain antibacterial properties that help remove pimple-causing bacteria and prevent acne from reoccurring. It helps to reduce redness and itchiness.
